Essie Haul

So when I last popped into Superdrug I noticed that they had the new Essie line in and went a bit over the top with nail polish's.

I picked up 5 colours and then a nail strengthener. The colours are (from right to left) Peach Daiquiri Ballet Slippers, Nail strengthener, Mint Candy Apple, Too Too Hot, Sugar Daddy.

I love the new brushes as i found that the old ones a real effort to paint with, always ended up streaky! Most of the colours you only need a couple of coats - Ballet Slippers and Sugar Daddy a few more.

I painted my nails with Too Too Hot five days ago and its still going strong, these polishes hardly chip (when used with a good top coat) and i'm very impressed with them.

I know as they are on the pricier side that Superdrug need to take some security precautions but when you try take off these ugly stickers they refuse to and end up looking hideous!

Other than that I LOVE the new Essie range. Which other colours should i pick up?

Essie Nail Polishes: £7.99 from Superdrug or Boots

Holiday series #2

What I took on the airplane

Normally when we go away it's a couple of hours away in the plane so the skin doesn't go that crazy. However this time, 11 hours on the plane, I was going to need as many moisturising products as I could find.

To start with a anti bacterial hand gel. A necessity when traveling, especially when your going to be applying moisturers to your face. You want your hands to be clean!

Then I brought a while ago a Clarins "Daily Energizer" set that was on sale. I had never really used it at home but it was the perfect travel size for the plane I used the toner to take of my makeup and used it to occasionally refresh my face (I packed a few cotton pads.) I had tried this Clarins moisturiser at home and found it over moisturising for my oily skin but I thought it would be perfect for the plane. And it was!

Last face product that I brought the one and only Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair, this was gorg on the plane. Helped keep the moisture in your skin and made you feel more awake and radiant.

For my lips, the loved nuxe "reve de miel" which I'm sure everyone knows was the most raved about lip product at one point. And it is amazing! However I found on the plane the smell and taste became a bit sickly. (normally I love the smell!) I also shoved in there Clarins Instant Light natural lip perfector mainly because I forgot to put it in my main makeup bag !

The last 2 are hand creams. Both I brought at duty free and both are from L'Occitane. At home I am in love with there classic one but I thought I would branch out and go for "fleur chérie" and "pivoine flora". Both are very nice but I think I actually prefer the smell of just the original one.

As you can tell I brought with me moisturising products and it worked wonders. While everyone else was complaining about their dry skin when we arrived mine felt silky smooth.

Whats your travelling must haves?
