Ok so if you follow me on twitter or read my posts on a regular basis then you will know that I am addicted to this hand cream, or should I say "creme."
I picked this up probably about a month ago now and I since then I have not used any other hand cream and apply it all the time.
So the smell of this hand cream (creme) is very strong and if you aren't a fan of scented hand creams then stay well away from this baby. It smells of almonds mixed with coconut - funny that seeing as its called "almond coconut milk." It is a very sweet smell and lasts for a long time. However I have found that this scent is a bit like Marmite, you either love it or hate it, so make sure you take a sniff in the shop before you make a purchase!
So although the smell of this is the best thing ever the actual hand cream itself is gorgeous. Its more of a gel consistency and just melts away into your hands leaving them feeling soft and hydrated but not greasy in the slightest. Even if this didn't smell like heaven in a tube I still think i would love it as it is just the perfect hand cream for on the go, you can just smother some of this on and carry on on your ways (without struggling to open door handles because your hands are so slippery) So this on the pricey side of hand creams, this smaller size is £13 but Im nearly 100% positive that they sell a bigger size but I can't seem to find it any where online. (I picked mine up from SpaceNK) Make sure you enter my giveaway for your chance to win this hand cream! (link)

So I hadn't really planned anything for todays post so I thought I would do a quick TAG. Its been a while since my last one and I find them really fun to do.
Q: Blush or Bronzer?
A.Bronzer. Day to day I don't use blush, I have naturally rosy cheeks so I don't really like to add to them and I just love my bronzer!
Q: Lipstick or Lip gloss?
A:I am 100% a lipstick girl, I can't stand lip gloss. I find it sticky and urg I just don't like how it feels. Lipstick all the way for me
Q: Eyeliner or Mascara?
A: Mascara. This was a tricky one and the only reason I went for mascara is because if I wore eyeliner without mascara it would just look strange but I don't mind mascara without eyeliner.
Q: Foundation or Concealer?
A: This is a easy one for me, foundation. Everyday I don't wear concealer, mainly for the reason that I end up waking up 10 minutes before I need to leave my house and so I rush and skip out steps but also I haven't found a concealer that completely floats my boat.
Q: Neutral or Colour Eyeshadow?
A:Neutral for ever. I am obsessed with neutral eyeshadows, MAC, urban decay, stila, sleek, MUA- you name a neutral palette I'll have it.
Q: Loose or Pressed Eyeshadow?
A: As much as I do like the pigmentation and look of loose eyeshadows they are just so messy and unpractical so I'd have to say pressed.
Q: Brushes or Sponges?
A: Again, another easy one, brushes for me. I don't like using sponges, I find you get a much nicer finish with brushes and I find them a lot more hygienic.
I tag all of YOU to do this tag! - tweet me with your blog post links if you do it!
"Almond essential oil, sweet orange oil and cinnamon leaf oil give a smooth fruity scent with a touch of spice. It lifts the mind and lingers on the skin"
So Lush was a shop that years ago I hated and couldn't even walk past without finding it so overpowering and full on- I think lots of people feel this way about it. However when I started reading blogs and looking into things I kept hearing loads of wonderful great things about their products. So I took the plunge one day and took a shopping list recommended by Lucy from LucyWrites (link) and ignored the over powering smell and just picked up a few products. I loved the products. Individually the products are less over powering and actually are pretty nice. I get bits and bobs from lush throughout the year- odd face mask here, bath bomb there, but the Christmas collection is when I go crazy and want everything. It all smells so Christmasy and makes you feel all warm and cosy.
To sum up a very long story I picked up lots of the Christmas collection and my new favourite this year is Cinders bath bomb. It smells of cinnamon and spices. The best way I can describe it is imagine the smell of Christmas, now shove all of that into a bath bomb and bobs your uncle you've made a Cinders bath bomb. It has popping candy on the top of it - which is meant to represent the crackling of a fire, which I don't quite understand because your in a bath.... Anyway I didn't even notice the popping candy until I tried to listen for it and yes you can hear it but its nothing special. Not only is this just the best bath bomb ever it is one of the cheapest from the Christmas collection (always a plus!) at £2.25 each. Sometimes I split it in half and so I get 2 uses out of one bath bomb but other times I'm just to lazy and throw the whole thing in. To conclude this long ramble of a post about a bath bomb this is just the perfect thing to put in your bath on a Sunday evening when you want to be relaxed, warm and want to feel a bit festive. So if you were, like me, a bit scared and overwhelmed by Lush all I can say is go in and try this bath bomb and you will not regret it! So Origins VitaZing is one of those endlessly talked about products in the beauty world so I thought it was time I picked it up and tried it for myself.
VitaZing is a moisturiser that has a slight "tint" to it. However it is not a tinter moisturiser. VitaZing is a real "pick me up" product. It makes your skin glowy, healthy looking and slightly more tanned.
When you first use VitaZing out of the bottle it is a white liquid with little brown dots in it (the sheer tint). When you work it into your skin these burst and create a natural tint. Its the perfect moisturiser for the days where you don't want to wear make up or your just popping to the shops but you just want a bit of something to make you feel more confident.
Not only can you just wear it on its own but I actually use it as my daily moisturiser under make up. I find that it doesn't make me too oily (its oil free) and just gives my skin a extra boost. I think this would be perfect with anyone who has normal - oily skin types, people with dry skin might not feel it gives them enough moisture. The only downside to this product is the hefty price tag. £27 for 50ml. Its pretty expensive however saying that you do only need a pea size amount daily. If you use to much it won't sink into your skin and just looks like you've applied shiny foundation that hasn't been worked in properly. I really need to try more Origins products as everything I've tried I've loved! Let me know what you favourite Origins product is
So as I'm sure most of you know the MAC Christmas collection came out last Thursday in the UK. It was a very exciting day for all us beauty people! I decided this year I would have a look around at all of it and only buy things I will actually use all year round- last year I went a bit crazy and brought things just because they were in the collection and have never actually used them!
So after looking around the collection I thought that the packaging is really cute but the actual products and sets themselves are a bit average Joe. I only actually ended up buying 1 thing from it and i'm happy with my purchase. I picked up the Guilty Passions: 4 Tenderly Warm Crushed Metallic Pigments.
So this set comes with 4 colours Ever Elegant, Silk Stocking, Darling Coquette and Rose Light. At first looks I didn't think I would like Rose Light as its very pink and "rose" ( hence the name) but actually I wore it yesterday lightly pattered over my everyday make up and it looked really pretty and not to pink. Silk Stocking and Darling Coquette are both champagne colours, Silk stocking more yellow based and Darling Coquette more pink. Ever Elegant is a rich reddish brown and perfect for a darker evening look.
The thing I found with these pigments is its more of a pressing them onto your eyes motion, this can mean that they are rather tricky when blending in the crease as I found the colour got more intense the more I blended. Overall I think this is the perfect neutral pigment set for pretty much everyone. The MAC Christmas collection make perfect gifts as its reasonably priced and well, everyone likes a bit of MAC in their life. 4 crushed Metallic Pigments (link) - £25.50 Have you brought anything from the collection yet?
So back in January I posted my MAC neutral palette but I thought it was time to update you guys on whats in it at the moment. A lot has stayed the same but a few newbies might have sneakily worked their way in.
Firstly can I just saw how much I love the new palette!? So much easier to see whats inside and overall they just look so sleek and modern and beautiful! The only downside, the price of these badboys. So the palette comes as two parts- but you need to buy both!? The actual palette costs £14.00 and the part that separates all the eyeshadows costs £6.50. So this comes to a breath taking £19.50 for just a empty palette. (Price didn't obviously stop me though!)
So my this palette is my 'everyday' palette that changes a lot however it is normally always filled with the more neutral eye shadows as that's what I like to wear out. From top left to right : Shroom, All that glitters, Honeylustful, Gleam, Texture, Woodwinked, Antiqued, Trax, Sable, Satin Taupe, Mulch, Night Manoeuvres- from a collection years ago,Embark, Handwritten, Carbon. I am a massive fan of MAC eye shadows, I think they are so pigmented and blend so well creating just the perfect eye shadows. Not only this but they have a huuuuge range of colours so everyone can find something that they like and that suits them. I always recommend MAC eye shadows as a good "first" high end eye shadow. My friend recently wanted some eye shadows and I suggested that she got the 2 pan palette and filled it up with a neutral base (all that glitters) and a darker brown for the crease (espresso). MAC eye shadows are £12 or £10 for just the pan to go in your palette. (These have increased in price haven't they?) Whats your favourite MAC eyeshadows?

Ok so these "small" hauls need to stop because they all add together to create a mental amount of Essie.
So I picked up 3 shades, "stylenomics", "don't sweater it" and "skirting the issue". All 3 of these are very Autum/Winter shades. I got so used to buying pastel bright coloured that it felt a bit strange going to for dark colours. "stylenomics" is a dark dark green, almost looks black in some lights but it is so beautiful and glossy. "Don't sweater it" is if anyone knows Barry M mushroom, it's pretty much identical. In the Superdrug lighting I thought it was a lot lighter than it actually is but oh well, I still really like. Lastly is "skirting the issue" this is a true winter /Autum colour. A dark deep red. It's just a classic nail polish however I don't own anything like it! (that was my excuse for getting another Essie polish) I am currently rocking Stylenomics and love it. As always the quality of the Essie polishes are just amazing and the new brushes make life a lot easier!! What Essie polishs should I buy next? (Currently Essie Polishes are 3 for 2 in Boots!- BARGAIN)
